Luckily, while I was there I was able to visit the most AMAZING fabric shop, DressSew - if you google you'll find other blogger talking about it and some pictures of the inside. I got lots (I think about 160) of cover buttons, for maybe a sixth of the price they usually cost.
I also picked out a few choice fabrics which I'd live to show you!
The most expensive was Guipere lace for $40 a meter (above), which I'm going to use for the bodice and sleeves on a sample wedding dress.
Bling!! I got 2 of these to use as tim on a wedding dress currently in my head, $5 each. Pin stripe suiting, which will probably be used for a dress I've been working on a pattern for! | How cute are these transfers! 25c a packet, I'll add some patchwork framing and make min quilts! And the most gorgeous burn out silk, these will probably become Mother of the Bride dress samples. $15/m | A stretch knit for some T-shirts, or mayb a dress - $6 a m |
