After spending ages looking in magazines at invitations, I decided they're just not worth the money. I'm glad I did, because after a quick trip to hobby craft and half an hour experimenting, I have something that I like more than anything I've seen to buy, for about a tenth of the cost. May change my mind once I've made dozens of the of course!
Planning to make them using a rubber stamp and embossing powder, after finding this place which makes rubber stamps to your design - works out way cheaper than buying a 'wedding' and an 'invitation' stamp, and you get the spacing perfect every time!
The ribbon with the bow will be for invites we can give out by hand, the gold dot version is for the once we have to post :)
